The British Franchise Association Meets Sarah

To celebrate International Women's Day on 8th March 2021, The British Franchise Association (BFA) asked our Director and Founder, Sarah Edwards-Johnston to share her experiences as a female business owner after she launched Edston Luxury Holidays just as the global lockdown hit. 

As a wife, a mother of 2 young children, and the owner of two very different businesses, Sarah is a busy lady! Before realising her ambition of owning a travel business she spent 17 years building a successful career as a social worker.

Being asked by the Holiday Franchise Company and the BFA to share her experiences of being a female franchise owner, and the challenges she has faced while growing a travel agency during a pandemic was an exciting opportunity for Sarah to tell her story.  So here it is!
