Luxury Cayman Islands Holidays
Kick back in a Caribbean paradise with a luxury escape to the Cayman Islands. With picture-perfect Caribbean sands, crystal clear waters, and some of the most diverse wildlife in the Atlantic Ocean.
LAIDBACK BEACH LIFE, INCREDIBLE DIVING, AND SPECTACULAR NATURE
The Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory of three small islands in the Western Caribbean Sea that promise pure paradise with all the necessary elements for an adventure-filled Caribbean holiday including perfect beaches, incredible wildlife and natural scenery, and a plethora of water sports and diving opportunities too.
The largest island is Grand Cayman which encompasses a perfect blend of British and Caribbean charm, tranquil beaches, and endless diving opportunities to explore the surrounding crystal-clear waters.
For long and lazy beach days head to Seven Mile Beach in George Town, the capital of Grand Cayman. As the name aptly suggests, the sandy shores stretch across several miles and there is no shortage of prime spots to relax, soak up the Caribbean sun and watch the world go by. Crowds in the Cayman’s are rare, and while Grand Cayman is busier than the two smaller islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman it still feels exclusive and remote enough to pass as your own Caribbean paradise.
Ideal scuba diving and snorkeling spots are almost endless in the Cayman Islands. Head out into the turquoise waters and you will find yourself transported into a tropical underwater extravaganza. Some of the best diving spots in the Caymans include Stingray City which is a gentle one-hour boat trip from Grand Cayman and offers the opportunity to swim with rays in the clear blue waters, or Bloody Bay Wall, off Little Cayman; a submerged underwater mountain with a wall that drops 2,000 to the ocean floor and is home to an array of colourful marine creatures. Back on shore, just a short distance from Seven Mile Beach, a visit to the local Turtle Farm to meet some of the endangered turtles is a must.
Choosing between one of Cayman’s many luxurious resorts may take some time, but you can be assured that the perfect accommodation exists for any preference. Couples, honeymooners, and families are all catered for, and the warm Caribbean hospitality is always in evidence.
